TALLAHASSEE IMMIGRATION & CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT

The building has been awarded a LEED Silver NC Certification. This is a GSA administered project developed by a private developer which provided the building to GSA/ICE on a turnkey lease basis. The project is a tilt wall structure utilizing steel bar joist and interior supporting steel beams and columns.

 

Dania Beach Border Patrol

The Dania Beach Border Patrol consists of a 40,512 SF facility that houses the Customs Enforcement Center for the Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades.  It is comprised of an administration and detention center, a vehicle maintenance and storage facility, a K-9 kennel, a vehicle fueling depot and a state of the art communications center.  

 

Department of Homeland Security Miami Sector Headquarters

Gallo Herbert Architects was responsible for the master plan, construction administration and building design for this facility. It is part of the Pembroke Pines Business Center. The Floridian-style 1- story 33,360 SF facility contains administrative offices, computer and emergency operations control room, fitness center, training room and sound secure intelligence center and an 11,000 SF secure parking for seized boats and vehicles. Also located on the 5.5 acre landscaped site is an 11,850 SF support building which houses three bays for vehicle maintenance, and one bay for boat maintenance. This building also includes an emergency generator and a diesel/gas pumping station.
