St. Paul the Apostle church Gazebo and Bell tower

The Archdiocese of Miami and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church retained Gallo Herbert Architects to create a master plan vision to take this small but cohesive parish beyond its first 50 years. Our firm developed a concept that would create cohesiveness out of a group of three disparate buildings and simultaneously proposed building additions, renovations and exterior garden spaces to encourage public invitation to prayer, meditation and exploration of ones spirituality. The first two projects were the renovation of the Bell Tower which serves as a Campanile or pivot point for all of the existing structures. The second project was to renovate and expand the Parish Hall to accommodate the growing congregation and create the exterior garden spaces for public enjoyment and prayer.

St. Henry Catholic Church

St. Henry’s Catholic Church narthex expansion and site modifications consists of a 2,800 SF expansion to the existing church that added a narthex, confessionals, rest rooms, vestments room and a much needed covered drop off.  The project helped establish a fresh new façade to the church along Andrews Avenue that respects the existing architecture.
